7 Nights 8 Days Killar Trip Itinerary (Ex Chandigarh)

Day 1: Chandigarh to Manali (Approx. 310 km, 8 hours)

Start your journey early in the morning from Chandigarh and drive to Manali. Enjoy the scenic beauty of the mountains along the way. Arrive in Manali, check-in to your hotel, and relax. Spend the evening exploring the local markets and nearby attractions. Dinner and overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 2: Manali Sightseeing

Spend the day exploring Manali. Visit popular attractions like Hadimba Temple, Manu Temple, Vashisht Hot Springs, and the Tibetan Monastery. Enjoy a leisurely walk on Mall Road and indulge in some local shopping. Dinner and overnight stay at your hotel in Manali.

Day 3: Manali to Udaipur (Approx. 150 km, 5-6 hours)

After breakfast, depart for Udaipur (in Himachal Pradesh). Enjoy the scenic drive and visit the ancient Marikula Mata Temple, known for its wooden carvings. Arrive in Udaipur and check-in to your accommodation. Spend the evening at leisure. Dinner and overnight stay in Udaipur.

Day 4: Udaipur to Killar (Approx. 80 km, 8-10 hours)

After breakfast proceed to Killar, on the way you may stop for lunch in Tindi. Experience the rugged terrains and breathtaking views of the Pir Panjal Range. Arrive in Killar and check-in to your accommodation. Evening is free to explore the town. Dinner and overnight stay in Killar.

Day 5: Explore Killar and Surroundings

Spend the day exploring Killar and its surroundings. Visit the remote villages and interact with the local tribes to learn about their unique culture and traditions. Enjoy the scenic beauty, dense forests, and pristine rivers of the region. Trekking and hiking are popular activities in this area. Return to your accommodation for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 6: Killar to Dalhousie (Approx. 250 km, 10-12 hours)

Depart from Killar and head to Dalhousie, a charming hill station nestled in the Himalayas. Take the scenic route via Sach Pass (4,420 meters), one of the highest mountain passes in India.

Enjoy the breathtaking views of the Pir Panjal range and the rugged landscape. The journey may be long, but the stunning scenery and thrilling experience of crossing Sach Pass make it worthwhile.

Arrive in Dalhousie by night and check-in to your hotel. Dinner and night stay at the hotel.

Day 7: Dalhousie Sightseeing

Spend the day exploring Dalhousie. Visit attractions like Khajjiar (also known as Mini Switzerland of India), St. John’s Church, and Panchpula. Enjoy the lush green landscapes and the serene atmosphere. Return to your hotel in Dalhousie for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 8: Dalhousie to Chandigarh Drop (Approx. 315 km, 8-9 hours)

After breakfast, start your journey back to Chandigarh. Enjoy the scenic route through the picturesque hills.Drop to the railway station or airport.
