Detailed Itinerary
Day 1: Delhi to Manali – Overnight Volvo
Your journey begins in Delhi as you board an overnight Volvo bus to Manali. This comfortable overnight ride will take you through the scenic landscapes of Himachal Pradesh. Relax on the bus and get a good night’s sleep as you make your way to Manali.
Day 2: Manali Arrival and Local Sightseeing
Upon your arrival in Manali, check in at your hotel, freshen up (check-in at 12:00 Noon). Afternoon, you’ll start your local sightseeing tour in Manali. Visit popular attractions such as Hadimba Temple, Manu Temple, Vashisht Hot Springs, and the Mall Road, where you can explore local markets and enjoy some shopping. In the evening, return to your hotel for a comfortable overnight stay.
Day 3: Manali to Jispa
After breakfast, depart from Manali for Jispa. The drive to Jispa offers stunning views of the Himalayan landscapes and passes through Solang Valley, Atal Tunnel, Sissu and Keylong. You’ll reach Jispa, a small village in the Lahaul Valley, by evening. Check in at your hotel, and relax in the serene surroundings of Jispa. You can spend evening by the Bhaga River (walkable distance from your accommodation). Dinner and night stay in Jispa.
Day 4: Jispa to Leh
Today, you’ll continue your journey to Leh. The road to Leh will take you through high mountain passes, including Baralacha La and Tanglang La, providing breathtaking views of the rugged terrain. Upon reaching Leh, check in at your hotel and take the rest of the day to acclimatise to the high altitude.
Day 5: Leh to Nubra Valley
After an early breakfast, depart for Nubra Valley, one of Ladakh’s most beautiful regions. Your route will take you through the famous Khardung La Pass, one of the highest motor-able passes in the world. In Nubra Valley, visit Diskit Monastery and the enchanting sand dunes of Hunder. Enjoy a camel ride in the sand dunes and soak in the natural beauty. Overnight stay in Nubra Valley.
Day 6: Nubra Valley to Pangong
After breakfast, you’ll head to Pangong Lake, a high-altitude lake known for its stunning colors. The journey will take you through Shyok Valley, offering mesmerising views. Upon reaching Pangong, explore the area and spend the night in a camp near the lake, surrounded by the pristine beauty of the region.
Day 7: Pangong to Leh
In the morning, take in the beauty of Pangong Lake before heading back to Leh via Changla Pass. You’ll pass through the picturesque landscapes of Ladakh once again. On your return to Leh, visit the Shey Palace and Thiksey Monastery. Check in at your hotel in Leh and have a relaxing evening.
Day 8: Leh to Kargil (Sham Valley Sightseeing)
After breakfast in Leh, you’ll head to Kargil, which is known for its picturesque landscapes and historical significance. Along the way, you can explore the Sham Valley region, which includes attractions like Magnetic Hill, Gurudwara Pathar Sahib, and the confluence of the Zanskar and Indus Rivers. These sites offer both natural beauty and cultural experiences. Visit Lamayuru moorland and Monastery, later continue to your hotel in Kargil for a comfortable overnight stay.
Day 9: Kargil to Srinagar
Today after breakfast, you’ll travel from Kargil to the beautiful city of Srinagar, known for its scenic Dal Lake and Mughal gardens. The drive takes you through breathtaking landscapes of Drass region, visit Drass War Memorial and later continue to Srinagar. Upon reaching Srinagar, check in at your hotel. You can spend the evening taking a shikara ride on Dal Lake or exploring the local markets (at own arrangements). Relax and enjoy your stay in Srinagar.
Day 10: Srinagar Half-Day Sightseeing and Departure
On your final day, you have the morning for half-day sightseeing in Srinagar. You can visit renowned Mughal gardens like Shalimar Bagh, Nishat Bagh, and Chashme Shahi, known for their beautiful layout and flower-filled terraces. Enjoy the serene ambiance of these gardens and capture some memorable moments. After sightseeing, you’ll be dropped off at Srinagar Airport in accordance with your flight timings, concluding your trip with fond memories of the beautiful Kashmir Valley.
